The Lobby is the founding team of the Spectacles Improv Engine. Founded in 2005, The Lobby performed no-holds-barred short-form improv in Glendora and Fontana before settling at STAGEStheatre in Fullerton. The Lobby is the Spectacles team that provides the quintessential improv show experience by performing both gimmicky improv games and quality short scenes, both shaped by audience suggestion.
The Lobby was named the best improv group in Orange County in both 2009 and 2010 on MyFoxLA's OC Hotlist.

The Flyspace was created in 2010 with auditions held by The Lobby. The Flyspace is one of the funniest (and nerdiest) improv teams in Orange County. Focusing more on high-tension scenes than wacky games, the Flyspace has a unique style that separates them from other improv troupes. "Alone they are mortals, but when their awesome powers unite, they are FLYSPACE!"
The Flyspace is home to the 2010 Improv Cup MVP, Tony Rey, the 2011 Improv Cup MVP, Ian Adams, and the 2012 Improv Cup MVP, Jill Tsai.
Ghostlight is a blend of long-form and short-form improv, and a blend of hilarious and spooky. The result is one of the most entertaining and unique improv shows that you will ever see. The show is three different long-form blocks, with some short-form breaks in-between, and the show draws inspiration heavily from horror, thillers, and science fiction.

The Friday Society is the newest team in the Spectacles Improv Engine. While the team does perform short-form improv, they have shed nearly all of the gimmicks and focus entirely on performing engaging, hilarious scenes (some games played are more like a mid-form than short-form). No team in Orange County has the combined experience of the Friday Society; nearly all of the members of Friday Society run, or have run, an improv team.
